This nailer was a great buy. I've been using it to replace all of the moldng in our house and it has been working flawlessly. I'd highly recommend it.

I just received this "reconditioned ridgid" nail gun. Over the past 12 years, I have purchased many "remanufactured" or "reconditioned" products. Everything else that I have bought has been next to new and a good value. This is the first one that I am returning. The "reconditioned ridgid" nail gun came in a case that was filthy inside and out; all the accessories and manuals were included in good shape. Unfortunately, the gun was not. It appears as if the "reconditioned ridgid" gun had been USED extensively, to the point that the finish was worn is some areas, with many scrapes and a gouge was present on the head of the gun. It appears that no attempt at wiping dirt off the gun was made to make it presentable. The RIDGID labels were scrapped and peeling off. The gun had an objectionable odor. I did not attempt to see if the gun functioned because its physical appearance was so objectionable. I have zero confidence that it will perform long term.
